Any genuine or bona fide representative of GOD will never speak anything which can hurt anybody in any way.
There is no room for unhealthy criticism.
and
There is no room for envy in the heart.
and also
There is no room for unhealthy competition.
A genuine criticism can out of compassion and not envy.
and it is constructive not destructive.
When people see that the followers of religion criticises the other religion then they may lose respect for them and may be sometimes even lose faith from the GOD.
The purpose of a bona fide representative of God is to help GOD in His mission.
and the mission of GOD is "to uplift the conditioned souls from the material existence to the spiritual existence".
Therefore there is no room for envy or criticism for any other religion, because more or less all are heading towards the same goal.
Once when the founder Acharya of ISKCON ,HDG A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada was preaching in the western countries, somebody asked him,
"What is your opinion of Jesus Christ?"
And
He said "He is our guru."
So this is the attitude of any genuine preceptor ,guru or representatives of GOD towards any other religion.
Because he understands their teachings and knows well that they are meant for the spiritual uplift of the society and are bonafide.
of course the processes may be different but the goal is same.
So unhealthy criticisms are all results of immaturity.
Just like a mature phd. student will never criticise the first grade math,but the possibilities are there that a first grade student can criticise phd mathematics because of his immaturity in the understanding of the overall subject.
